Wagering Requirements at Slamz

By Elin Norrgård, casino analyst — updated August 2026

Every bonus at Slamz carries a wagering requirement, and it is the only term worth checking before the size of the offer. The standard is 35x the bonus amount, with 30 days to complete it. The same idea travels under three names — rollover, playthrough and wagering — and they mean exactly the same thing: the number of times the credited amount must be staked before it turns into money you can withdraw.

How wagering works, in euros

Take a €200 bonus at 35x. The requirement is €7,000 of stakes, not €7,000 of losses — every spin counts toward it regardless of outcome, and a win simply gives you more balance to keep spinning with. On slots, which contribute in full, a €1 spin moves the counter by €1. Seven thousand spins at €1 is a substantial commitment: at a comfortable pace of five hundred spins an hour, that is fourteen hours of play.

Check one detail on every offer: whether the multiplier applies to the bonus alone or to the deposit plus bonus. The second version, written as 35x(D+B), doubles the work on a 100% match — €14,000 instead of €7,000 on the same numbers. Slamz uses the bonus-only version on its standard offers, but campaign terms override anything written here.

Game contribution

Not every game moves the counter at the same rate. Contribution is set per category, and it exists because the house edge differs — a game where skilled play brings the edge close to zero cannot be allowed to clear a bonus at full speed.

How much €10 of stake contributes toward wagering, by game type
Game typeContribution€10 staked counts as
Slots100%€10
Live roulette10%€1
Live blackjack and baccarat10%€1
Table games (RNG)10%€1
Video poker5%€0.50
Progressive jackpot slots0%Nothing at all

The bottom row is the one that ruins evenings. A jackpot slot can consume an entire bonus balance while the wagering counter stays exactly where it was, and no support agent will reset it afterwards. Check the excluded list before you open a game, not after.

A full worked example

You deposit €100 and take the 100% match, so the bonus balance is €100 and the requirement is €3,500. You play Fortune Tiger at €0.50 a spin. Slots contribute 100%, so each spin moves the counter by €0.50 and you need seven thousand spins in total. After three evenings you have staked €2,100 and your balance sits at €140. Switching to live blackjack for the last stretch would be a mistake: at 10% contribution the remaining €1,400 of requirement would demand €14,000 of stakes. Finish on the slot, then withdraw.

The time limit

Thirty days on the welcome offer, seven on a reload, three to five on a spin package. When the time limit passes, the bonus balance and every euro of winnings still attached to it are removed — not paused, not extended. Your own deposited cash is never touched. If the clock is going to beat you, cancelling the bonus early leaves the cash intact and is far better than watching the deadline take everything.

Where players lose it

Bonus wagering explained honestly comes down to four mistakes: exceeding the €5 maximum stake per round, opening an excluded game, requesting a withdrawal before the requirement is cleared, and running out of time. Each one voids the bonus, and each one is entirely avoidable. The full list of rules sits on our bonus terms page.
